Mike writes:
I was originally a research scientist, but didn't like the direction of science at the time, and developed an alternative and varied career including art teacher, builder, photographer, potter, musician and writer. Since qualifying as an Alexander Teacher in 1989, I have worked in private practice, assisted on several teacher-training courses, and led a master class at the Society's national conference. In addition to individual Alexander Technique lessons I am experienced workshop leader specialising in movement and creative and performing arts, and for fifteen years have maintained a parallel career as a professional character clown performing at arts festivals and theatres throughout the UK under my character name of Professor Paradox.
